(Source: JP Cullen & Sons Inc) One of America's most influential 'founding fathers,' that is not necessarily counted as a founding father is Thomas Paine. He drafted the pamphlet 'Common Sense' and provided a call to action (of sorts) for Jefferson, Franklin, Washington, Adams and Hamilton by laying out the fallacies of a monarch while planting the seed for a democracy. The beauty of this pamphlet was Paine's ability to articulate ideas that common people understood.
